My approach to historic buildings is founded on an understanding of their history and method of construction, combined with a sympathetic and creative approach to their re‑use and repair, based on sound conservation principles.

I aim to enhance the quality of the environment in which I work through the use of appropriate materials, detailing and high quality craftsmanship.

Each new commission deserves a unique approach.  My objective is to deliver design solutions that achieve and exceed the client’s expectations, whilst respecting and responding to the qualities of each site.
