Mark Evans has a wide range of experience in the care of church buildings of all ages. As quinquennial architect within six dioceses, condition surveys and subsequent repairs and alterations to the existing fabric form a significant part of the practice’s work.

Projects and designs include feasibility studies, the sensitive insertion of new support facilities to the church building, liturgical reordering, access improvements, conservative repair of existing historic fabric, maintenance strategies and refurbishment of church/community rooms.

Several projects have received financial support from English Heritage and the Heritage Lottery Fund, as well as other grant aiding bodies.
