Timber Framing

The practice designs bespoke green oak framed structures. Frame designs can take into account regional variations in constructional traditions to provide structures that are modern in their layouts and performance, whilst incorporating the best of traditional framing. In order to highlight the crafted nature of the framing the planning drawings are undertaken by hand.

Mark Evans is also trained in the careful analysis and subsequent conservative repair and adaptation of existing timber framed buildings.
